Pilot Jerry

Earning a Private Pilot Certificate was one of my greatest challenges. However, now flying is the one time when nothing interrupts my thoughts.  One must fly as if your life depends on it (because it does).  Flying a small Cessna demands total concentration and singularity of thought and action.  For me, it is a form of meditation and escape like no other.  Currently own and fly a Cessna 172.  In 2016 I finally earned the IFR (instrument flight rules) ticket.

  • Flight School - Desert West Aviation
An excellent school.  Two great instructors and the owner is fair, honest, and has a great sense of humor.  I often rent their C-172 for short flights around the valley.  I can honestly recommend their services.  - They recently started twin engine training!
