Resources for Educators

Items and resources I use to improve the lives of students, teachers, and parents.

Help them explain their feelings

Every psychologist and counseling office should have this poster and use it regularly.

Commercial Grade

Without a doubt the best, small, longest lasting Keurig coffee brewer I ever used. It is single cup, small enough for an office, and makes steaming hot coffee. Great after a long night of report writing.

Best coffee k-cup for Keurig

A consistently favorite among visiting teachers, counselors, and principals. Give them a good cup of coffee and they may approve that request for an extra computer monitor.

Hosting a meeting online?

Built in computer microphones are usually directional. This means if you join a meeting online, the computer must face the person speaking. These mics pick up all conversations around the table. I purchased one for each of my schools.

Report card comments

A hit with teachers. Click the tote for more report card comments applied to totes, bags, coffee mugs and more. Sometimes we search for something positive to say about a student. Share humor.

Adolescent counseling

My “go to” method for counseling adolescents. Stop telling them what to do and start helping them find answers. I love this approach.

A practical approach to emotions

Read it. As a parent, school psychologist, or therapist it will change, simplify, and focus your guidance on creating resiliency. Resiliency leads to lifelong improvement to bounce back from challenges.

A must for psychologist and students

Psychologist and high school/college students will thrive with David Allen’s classic. I strive to fully implement his approach.

Outstanding Physics Lab Manual

For high School students and physics teachers. Detailed experiments are clearly outlined including grading rubrics. Let lab manual do the work. Aligned to AP Physics 1 content.

Work, energy, power, momentum, etc

Teaching or learning physics? This is a must have. Don’t re-invent the wheel. Use what works. Includes lab experiments to support the concepts being taught.
